St Patrick’s Day/March special – enjoy scrumptious 24/7 Uptime cupcakes

Don’t our 24/7 Uptime cupcakes look gorgeous?  And they taste scrumptious too!

We’re making a special St Patrick’s Day offer throughout March – simply introduce us to your optician* and if the practice becomes a Replicate Retina offsite data backup client during March 2012 we will send you a box of 4 delicious cupcakes as a thank you.  Enjoy moist chocolate Guinness cake with a cream cheese frosting and zingy lemon & lime sponge with a lemon & lime zest buttercream.  Yum!

What Is Replicate Retina?

Opticians are subject to clinical governance, including compliance with the Data Protection Act. This is because they hold personal information on clients including our retina images when they undertake eye scans.  Our retinas are unique to us so it is essential that all data is securely stored.  Replicate Retina protects all patient details as well as current and historic retina scan images.  It protects systems such as Eyecap, Topcon and Vector retina imaging solutions, as well as Ocular Coherence Tomography (OCT) scans.  Replicate Retina also protects all practice critial information such as front of house booking systems, appointment/sales information, Sage and QuickBooks accounts, Outlook emails, Microsoft Word, Excel and other Office documents.  The optician’s practice shouldn’t worry about IT or being tech-savvy because we do everything for them and hold their hand all the way so it’s a very simple process.  More about Replicate Retina here.

Tempted to taste our cupcakes?  We hope so.  Call us on 0161 304 9991 or contact us viaemailFacebook or Twitter and we’ll be delighted to see how we can help your optician.  Thank you.

*By ‘introduction’ we mean that your optician has agreed to speak to us and is expecting our call.  Cupcakes will be provided to the first person who has brokered the introduction to a practice once the data backup account has been set up.  This cupcake offer is valid for introductions to new UK-based optician clients who take up at least one Replicate Retina offsite data backup account between 1.3.12 and 31.3.12.  Afraid it’s not applicable on introductions to any existing optician client accounts nor at reseller rates.

24/7 Uptime raise money for a great cause

The 5 mile fund-raising run for Olympic hopeful, Andrew Steele, took place on a very cold February morning (Sunday 12th) and we are delighted to confirm that it has raised £300 towards Andrew’s Olympic training fund.

The event, co-organised by 24/7 Uptime and Andy O’Sullivan of Andems Runners, had 44 runners tackling the route around Hollingworth Lake and Littleborough. Running uphill for the first 2 miles and then on moorland, track and road in very icy and exposed conditions made fast finishing times difficult. Winner Simon Bruton from Salford Harriers finished in 29 minutes 24 seconds, with 24/7 Uptime’s Chris Robinson finishing in 13th place in 39 minutes 56 seconds.

Congratulations to everyone who took part in the race and those who kindly sponsored the runners. Now let’s keep our fingers crossed and hope we see Andrew Steele come tops in the 2012 Olympics!
